East Austin is home to lots of great restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and bars. If you stay nearby (check AirBnb/Home Away/etc as well as hotels!), you will likely be able to get around on Scooters (e.g. https://www.li.me), Lyft/Uber, or ... just walk.
